Paolo moved to Sedona from Portland Oregon, in 2011 with a dream to sing “jazz in an exotic city, and Sedona is plenty “exotic”! The dream to be a Sedona jazz musician came true almost instantly. He has been singing around town in places like Studio Live, Mary Fisher Theater, Sedona Performing Arts Center, The Creative Life Center, Red’s Lounge, Sound Bites Grill, Mesa Grill, Ken’s Creek Side, Market Place Café, Rene’s, and plenty of private parties and fundraisers.
Paolo got his start in art and music from the very young age of 5 years living in Youngstown Ohio. His Mom and Dad loved arts and entertainment. So as the first born…like it or not…he got dowsed in all the arts, including cooking, painting, sculpture, dance, theater and architecture. He has sung with the San Francisco Opera, Portland Opera, and San Francisco Gay Men’s Chorus and Portland Gay Men’s Chorus.
In his younger more athletic years, he even had his own dance company, The Paul Scardina Dance Company of San Francisco, where is danced, taught, toured and choreographed for a decade. Now he dances with his voice!
Though now passionate about vocal jazz, Paolo has been designing house for three decades. He is currently the designer for Sustainable Sedona, LLC which specializes in timeless dwellings, houses that are as beautiful as they are functional and durable.
